Requesting an Advising Appointment during Spring 2018
This semester I am available for advising by appointment only on Thursdays 2:00-4:00. When you e-mail me (katie.cramer@wichita.edu) to set up an appointment, you should include 2-3 dates and times that would work for you, as well as your full name and myWSU ID. In the subject line of your e-mail, type your full name followed by a 1-3 word summary of the purpose of your e-mail, for example:
  • John Smith: Request for Appointment
  • Diana Martin: Question about English courses
If my posted availability does not fit your schedule, I can be available other days/times of the week, but you need to allow me plenty of advance notice.
Please also keep in mind that I am generally not immediately available to visit with you. Plan to schedule your appointment at least one week in advance, and do not wait until registration periods to meet with me. It’s up to you to plan ahead and be proactive about your program of study. In addition, please plan to check out your folder from ESS (Corbin 107) before arriving for your appointment. You can use your Shocker card to check out your folder and bring it to our meeting (my office is in Corbin, room 119).

English Education Listserv: Check your WSU e-mail account on a regular basis (at least once a week), as I regularly send out Advisement Bulletins via declared majors’ WSU e-mail accounts. If you don’t think you’re receiving these bulletins, send me an e-mail at katie.cramer@wichita.edu from your WSU account (or with your WSU e-mail address) and I’ll add your name to the listserv.
